COVID-19 INFORMATION


Information for Clients

Grace & Harnadek Neuropsychology  continues to accept new referrals. 

We have now resumed conducting assessments at this time.

We want to reassure our clients that extra precautions have been put in place to ensure the safety of their health, as well as the health of our staff.

Globally, and in Canada, the COVID-19 outbreak is evolving quickly. We continue to monitor the guidance put forward by the Middlesex-London Health Unit.

 

What You Can Expect

Note: The Middlesex London Health Unit has advised that all travellers returning to Ontario from outside the province should self-isolate at home for 14 days, whether they have symptoms or not.

If possible, you will be contacted the day prior to your assessment to review your symptoms.  This is intended to spare clients who are experiencing symptoms from travelling to the office if their appointment needs to be delayed. 

When you arrive for your appointment, you will be screened to review if you have symptoms suggestive of possible COVID-19 exposure. 

You will be given reassurance that the staff working with you have also been screened and found to not be exhibiting symptoms.

We have a separate rear entrance into the office and you may be asked to use it in order to avoid unnecessary contact with others in the building. 

All high-touch surfaces (door knobs, table tops, light switches, etc) will be disinfected prior to your appointment, and again following your session.

Disposable masks will be available and you will be asked to wear one to lessen the risk of droplet spread. 

Proper hand hygiene practices are in place.  Hand sanitizer will be available throughout your session for both you, and for staff, to use.

All test forms and pencils are “one-use” only.  Your test forms and pencils have not been exposed to other clients.

We have added two HEPA air purifiers to limit potential air-borne distribution of virus.

IF YOUR APPOINTMENT NEEDS TO BE CANCELLED

if your appointment needs to be cancelled, rest assured that every effort will be made to reschedule for a more appropriate time and without penalty to you.

 

What You Can Do

If you have symptoms of fever, or cough or shortness of breath, you should contact Telehealth Ontario at 1-866-797-0000 or the Middlesex-London Health Unit at 519-663-5317 for further assessment and guidance.

In addition, if you have symptoms, you should contact our office (519-657-0200) and leave a message notifying us.  This helps protect our staff and other clients.

We ask that you clean your hands when you enter and exit the office.
